Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: August 21, 2026

Volcano Power Inc. understands that project plans can change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains our general policies regarding deposits, cancellations, completed services, project changes and wood pallet purchases.

Individual estimates, proposals or contracts may contain terms specific to a particular project. When project-specific written terms differ from this general policy, the applicable signed or accepted project agreement will control to the extent permitted by law.

Service Estimates

Requesting an estimate from Volcano Power Inc. does not require you to purchase services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

An estimate becomes a service commitment only after the applicable project requirements have been accepted and any required authorization or deposit has been provided.

Project Deposits

Certain projects may require a deposit before materials are purchased, equipment is reserved or work is scheduled.

Any required deposit and applicable payment terms will be disclosed before the customer approves the project.

If a customer cancels after Volcano Power Inc. has incurred project-related expenses, the deposit may be applied to costs already incurred, including:

  • Materials purchased for the project

  • Special-order items

  • Equipment reservations or rentals

  • Disposal arrangements

  • Permit or administrative expenses

  • Labor already performed

  • Other reasonable project-specific expenses

Any remaining refundable portion, if applicable, will be determined according to the circumstances of the project and the customer's written agreement.

Customer Cancellations

Customers who need to cancel or reschedule a project should contact Volcano Power Inc. as soon as possible.

Cancellation eligibility and any applicable refund will depend on the status of the project at the time cancellation is requested.

Projects cancelled before work, material purchases or other project expenses have occurred may qualify for a refund of payments made, subject to any project-specific agreement.

Once expenses have been incurred or work has begun, those costs may be deducted from any amount otherwise eligible for refund.

Materials and Special Orders

Materials purchased specifically for a customer's project may be non-refundable if they cannot reasonably be returned, reused or credited by the supplier.

Restocking charges, return shipping or other supplier-imposed costs may also be deducted from an otherwise eligible refund.

Customers will be informed when significant special-order or project-specific materials affect cancellation terms whenever reasonably practical.

Work Already Completed

Payments for services that have already been satisfactorily performed according to the agreed scope of work are generally not refundable.

If a customer believes there is a problem with completed work, contact Volcano Power Inc. promptly so the concern can be reviewed.

We prefer the opportunity to understand the issue and determine an appropriate resolution rather than leave a legitimate concern unaddressed.

Changes to the Scope of Work

A customer may request changes after a project has been approved or started.

Changes may affect the original price, required materials, labor and completion schedule.

Payments associated with work already performed or expenses already incurred remain subject to the original agreement unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Projects Cancelled by Volcano Power Inc.

There may be circumstances where Volcano Power Inc. cannot proceed with a scheduled project.

These circumstances may include unsafe working conditions, undisclosed hazards, regulatory requirements, severe weather, inaccessible work areas or other conditions that prevent the work from being performed safely or lawfully.

If Volcano Power Inc. cancels a project before work begins and no customer-specific expenses have been incurred, payments made for unperformed work will generally be refunded.

If materials, permits, equipment or other project expenses have already been incurred, the appropriate amount will be determined based on the circumstances and applicable agreement.

Weather-Related Cancellations and Rescheduling

Landscaping, snow removal, demolition and other exterior services may be affected by weather.

A weather-related delay or rescheduling does not automatically constitute cancellation of the service or create eligibility for a refund.

Volcano Power Inc. will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant scheduling changes and complete the service when conditions permit.

Snow Removal Services

Snow removal depends on weather conditions, snowfall accumulation, accessibility, road conditions and service arrangements established with each customer.

Refund and cancellation terms for seasonal agreements, recurring service or individual snow events may be established separately in the customer's estimate or service agreement.

Weather conditions outside the control of Volcano Power Inc. may affect service timing.

Wood Pallet Purchases

Customers should inspect or confirm the condition, quantity and suitability of wood pallets before completing a purchase whenever possible.

Because pallet condition and specifications may vary, customers are responsible for determining whether the pallets are suitable for their intended application.

Returns or exchanges of wood pallets must be approved by Volcano Power Inc. before merchandise is returned.

Pallets that have been used, altered, damaged after purchase or otherwise changed from their condition at the time of sale may not qualify for a refund or exchange.

Any specific return conditions communicated at the time of purchase will also apply.

Refund Processing

When a refund is approved, it will generally be returned using the original payment method when practical.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment method, financial institution or payment processor.

Volcano Power Inc. cannot control processing delays imposed by banks, credit card companies or third-party payment providers after a refund has been issued.

Disputes or Service Concerns

If you believe there is a billing error or concern regarding services received, please contact Volcano Power Inc. before initiating a payment dispute whenever possible.

Provide your name, project information and a description of the concern so we can review the circumstances and attempt to reach an appropriate resolution.

Project-Specific Agreements

This page establishes the general Refund & Cancellation Policy for Volcano Power Inc.

Individual projects may require separate estimates, proposals, invoices or contracts containing additional cancellation, payment or refund provisions.

Customers should review project-specific documents before approving work or submitting a deposit.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable Illinois or federal law.

Changes to This Policy

Volcano Power Inc. may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy as company procedures, services or legal requirements change.

The "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this page should be revised whenever material changes are made.
