Hazardous or Regulated Materials

Some demolition, flooring, window or renovation-related projects may involve materials that require special procedures under federal, state or local regulations.

Customers should disclose any known or suspected asbestos-containing materials, lead-containing materials or other hazardous conditions before work begins.

Volcano Power Inc. reserves the right to stop, postpone or decline work when previously undisclosed materials or conditions are discovered that require additional assessment, licensing, containment, testing, permits, equipment or procedures.

Any asbestos-, lead- or hazardous-material-related work accepted by Volcano Power Inc. will be limited to work the company and its personnel are legally authorized and qualified to perform.

Permits and Approvals

Certain demolition, removal or property improvement projects may require permits, inspections or governmental approval.

Responsibility for obtaining and paying for permits should be established before work begins and may vary by project.

No website statement should be interpreted as representing that a particular project can legally proceed without required permits or approvals.

Changes to the Scope of Work

Customers may request modifications after a project has been approved.

Additional work, unforeseen conditions or changes to the original scope may result in additional charges or scheduling adjustments.

When practical, significant changes will be discussed with the customer before additional work proceeds.

Scheduling

Scheduling depends on project requirements, crew availability, equipment, materials, weather and other operational considerations.

Estimated start or completion dates are not guaranteed unless specifically stated otherwise in a written agreement.

Volcano Power Inc. may reschedule work when circumstances reasonably prevent safe or practical completion.

Weather-Dependent Services

Certain services, particularly landscaping, exterior work and snow removal, depend heavily on weather conditions.

Weather may affect scheduling, arrival times, project duration and service availability.

Snowfall amount, accumulation rate, road conditions, equipment availability and the timing of a weather event may affect snow removal operations.

Payment

Payment requirements will be communicated through the applicable estimate, invoice, proposal or project agreement.

Depending on the project, Volcano Power Inc. may require:

  • A deposit

  • Progress payments

  • Payment upon completion

  • Payment according to another agreed schedule

Customers are responsible for reviewing payment requirements before approving work.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation, deposit and refund eligibility may depend on the type of service, work already performed, materials purchased, scheduling commitments and the terms of the applicable estimate or agreement.

Customers should review our Refund Policy and any project-specific agreement for additional information.

Wood Pallet Sales

Wood pallet availability, quantity, dimensions, condition and pricing may vary.

Customers should confirm current availability and suitability for their intended use before purchasing.

Unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing, customers are responsible for determining whether purchased pallets meet the requirements of their intended application.

Property Conditions

Property services may uncover conditions that were not visible or reasonably identifiable before work began.

These may include concealed damage, deteriorated materials, hidden structures, underground conditions, hazardous materials or other unexpected circumstances.

Discovery of such conditions may require work to stop temporarily while the customer and Volcano Power Inc. determine the appropriate next steps.
